Pick up in Faro airport
At the airport you will be met in the arrivals area by a representative
of YOR car hire & transfers. As you come through the sliding doors from
baggage reclaim please follow the barrier round to your left. Pass the
police station and coffee bar. To your left you will find a car hire
reception desk with a yellow and black YOR sign amongst others...
If you do not see the YOR rep at the desk he may be with another client.

Faro airport
The car will be on our car park at airport car park number 4 Row H. On
leaving the front of the terminal building please cross the road and the
pay car park in front of you. Our car park is across the road on the far
side of the pay car park about 200 meters from the terminal building. If
you have a trolley you may wish to follow the road to your right around
the edge of the car park.Return to top.
Drop off Faro airport
When returning the car to Faro airport please park it on the car park
from where you collected it. If the
rep is unable to be there to welcome you, please leave the car unlocked
with the key on top of the drivers wheel. Please rest assured that if
you do not meet the rep in the normal course, your deposit card slip
will be destroyed without delay. Return to top.
Please do not leave the car on any other car park, as you will remain
responsible for hire fees and our expenses. If there has been any damage
or other loss to the car please call the rep on the number above. It is
in your interest to agree the damage with him before leaving.

Drivers
Each car may have two named drivers [minimum age is 23 years]. They will
need to have their passports and drivers licence at commencement of hire
and at all times when driving. There is no maximum age.

The standard package includes:
CDW insurance with a low excess (this is like comprehensive in UK).
IVA (VAT).
Delivery / return at Faro airport or accommodation in the Algarve* (*Algarve min. 1 week rental)
An additional driver.
Child seats if required.
Roof rack [only on Opel Corsa].
Unlimited mileage in Portugal.

Drop-off Faro to or from Lisbon: 100 euro -
Faro to or from Porto Lisbon/Porto: 125 euro
Delivery in Lisbon / Porto airport: 50 euro
Delivery in Lisbon / Porto area: 50 euro
Delivery in Faro airport: free.
Delivery or pick-up in the Algarve: free for bookings of 6 days or more.
Delivery/pick-up charges (bookings for less than 6 days);
Zone 1: Vilamoura, Albufeira, Carvoeiro= 15 Euro
Zone 2: Alvor,Portimao, Lagos, Tavira= 25 euro
Zone 3: Sagres, 45 euro.
Night delivery (rental agreement made between 23 - 7 h) = 12 Euro per
rental.
Full tank policy
We do not operate a full tank policy. We recommend that you call
at the petrol station in the airport, open 24/7, before the start of
your journey.
At the end of the hire please
return the car with the same amount of petrol as at the start of the
hire.

Child safety
If you are using YOR's child seats please bring a towel or other cover
to help them keep the child seats clean for the next clients children.
The child seats YOR have are standard forward facing child seats
generally suitable for children from 6 months to 2 and a half years.
They also have booster cushions for older children (6-7 year). Where
parents are concerned as to the suitability of the seats YOR provide, we
recommend they bring own seats. Return to top.
Roof rack
To assist in fuel economy modern cars are of very lightweight
construction. As a result of much damage caused by clients over-loading
roof racks we now only fit roof racks to the Opel Corsa. You are
responsible for what you carry on the roof rack and for any damage that
it may cause to the car. We ask you to take great care. Clients should
supply their own tie-downs suitable for the baggage they intend to

What is not covered even with excess
insurance
Damage to wheels and tires, glass, keys and locks.
Damage to the underside of the car due to negligent or off road use.
Damages from deliberate violation of the terms and conditions of the
rental agreement or gross negligence.
Further a police report is always requested for the insurance to cover,
no matter the circumstances of the accident / damage to the car.

Deposit
Whether you pay by credit card or in cash we ask you to complete a
credit card slip as security for the amount of the insurance excess for
your car group. The slip is not submitted to the bank unless there is a
claim, so in the normal course you will not actually pay a deposit. At
the end of the hire the credit card slip is returned to you and you
should destroy it without delay.

How and when do I pay
Hire charges are payable on collection of the car by cash or credit card.

What is PAI and
what are the benefits
Personal Accident Insurance ("PAI") is an option that provides the
benefits shown below in the event of accidental death or accidental
injury to a renter and passengers occurring during the rental of a
vehicle. If this optional coverage is purchased by a renter, the renter
is covered twenty-four hours a day for all accidents, whether the renter
is actually in the vehicle at the time of the accident. Passengers in a
vehicle are only covered for accidents occurring while they occupy the
vehicle.
Benefits:
Renter / Each Passenger
Accidental death: euro 100,000 / euro 10,000
Accident Medical Expense up to: euro 1,000 / euro 1,000
Accident Ambulance Expense up to: euro 100 / euro 100
Total benefits for any one accident are limited to an aggregate of: euro
125,000.
Benefits are payable in addition to any other coverage available.

Reservation deposit
YOR do not ask for a reservation deposit so you will not need to expose
your credit card details over the Internet. Return to top.
Spain
The hire includes unlimited mileage within Portugal. If you wish to go
to Spain you will need a bail bond and green card from our insurers.

In case of an accident
Should you have an accident or the car is broken into or any other event
that requires a claim on the insurance you must call the police and get
an incident report number. Without this the insurance will not pay the
claim. It is your responsibility to obtain the police report number
and deliver it to us. If you have any difficulties with this please do
not hesitate to call the office and we will be happy to help. Please
call the YOR office to report any loss or damage even if the car remains

Return condition of vehicle
At the end of the hire please return the car with the same amount of
petrol as at the start of the hire. You'll find a petrol station in the

Break down
All cars have 24hr breakdown recovery throughout Portugal, if a car
breaks down please call YOR who'll assist you with the insurance
company, please have contract and car documents ready when calling.

I have a
Gold Visa, can I decline CDW insurance?
The advertised rates includes CDW (Insurance with a low excess ie. 400
euro for group B, C & D), if you take the supplementary "SuperCDW" at 6
euro/day you don't pay any excess in case of an accident. Payment with a
VISA GOLD card may give the same cover as the Super CDW but please check
with your card issuer.
What if I discover a problem with
the car?
Please call YOR immediately if you discover a problem with the car
or are unhappy about it, a replacement will be arranged. We can not
accept complaints about the cars once the rental period has ended.
